General conditions

Aventurecuador is a tour operator approved by the Ecuadorian Ministry of Tourism.  It is entitled to receive payments and deliver invoices. 

Insurances

Adequate and valid travel insurance is compulsory for all Aventurecuador customers.  Medical, Repatriation, luggage insurance are some of the ones suggested.  The contract number will be required to hand in to the guide on arrival.  You are strongly advised to insure yourself against any possible risk that may occur and in particular to ensure that you have sufficient insurance in respecto of dependent relatives.  You will be requiered to provide evidence of your policy at the start of the trip.  Please note, make sure you get a travel insurance for the entire duration of the tour in respect of at least medical expenses, injury, death, repatriation, cancellation and curtailment.  Check in the insurance you get that there are no exclusion clauses which limit cover for the type of activities included, or the altititudes attained, in your tour.  We strongly recommend you to take out insurance that includes cover against irrecoverable cancellation costs.

• 70% 8 days before your departure time.

Payment Policy

• Credit Cards: the payment can be done via the website of  Trekking-Explorer network which we belong to.
You just have to give the exact sum of money that you are depositing with your information to send to you the confirmation of this online transaction.

 If you cancel your trip

More than 30 days before your departure date we refund your deposit, less the bank charges plus any additional costs we have incurred

Less than 30 days before your departure date we retained 100% of your payment.
