The Amazonia
The Amazonia, Oriente, covers 47% of the land in Ecuador. Its climate is hot and wet, the dense rainforest is crossed by one of the largest contributor to the Amazonas River, Napo River. The region is not very populated and the access to it is not very easy so the area is still very well kept in some spots with a varied fauna.
