Spirit

All clients are expected to satisfy themselves prior to booking that they are fit and able to complete the itinerary of their chosen tour as described in our itineraries. It is safe to say that our tours are designed for the more active traveller - but by no means are our tours strenuous. Some of the activities we include will require some form of medium fitness level. All trips which include trekking or climbing are graded easy to strenuous so you can check in advance if the trip is suitable for you.  The adventure trips have been prepared with a lot of care but trekker/climber understands that during the course of the trip, certain risks and dangers may occur, including, but not limited to, the hazards of traveling in mountainous terrain, accident or illness in remote places without medical facilities, and the forces of nature. The trekker/climber agrees to assume all risks associated with the journey, and agrees that no liability will be attached to the company or its outfitters, employees or agents, or to any member of the tour group in respect to death, personal injury, illness or delay of trekker/climber, or for any loss or damage to the property of the trekker/climber during the course of the trip, howsoever caused.  In any case the guide, the local team and members of the tour group will support giving the best solution to the situation.  Another thing to be kept on mind when travelling with us is that our trips are of several days.  This means you will be with a group at all times and your responsibility then is to get ready to share, be a support for others, to act in a friendly way, to be tolerant and above all to be broad minded.

In your trip you are facing other culture so you need to be respectful to local customs and habits of the people of Ecuador.  This country is multiethnic and multiculture.  All this is visible also in the indian markets.   People in Ecuador lives in harmony with each other.

Be a responsible traveller.  You are guests of the communities you pass through and with wome thought and care you can ensure that everyone benefits from the experience.  You play an important role as well.   Buy locally made crafts and support local skills to encourage the positive sides of tourism and Think carefully about giving money to beggars.  It is often more effective to give money to local charity to reduce reliance and expectation.   Ask for permission before taking photographs out of respect for the local people.  Enjoy the areas you visit but, if possible, try and leave in a better state than you found them in.  Try not do damage any plants you se on the trails.  Wild animals should not be touched, fed or disturbed and do not encourage local people to parade animals.  Do not leave waste behind so, please bring your own bag for your personal waste.  We suggest smokers to carry their own pocket ashtrays not to leave any cigarrette on the way.  Our policy is to carry out all non biodegradable rubbish, if any is left behind, please bring to the guides attention.  Bring along environmentally friendly detergents and shampoos and use as little as possible to keep fresh water suppies free from pollution.
