Equipment

Your equipmet must be adapted to the specific mountain environment and activity you will be doing in the tour.  You must also take in cosideration the length of the tour and the kind of ruck sack you need for the sort of activities you will be doing.  The following list is just and indicative for the tours in general and the especific ones:

FOR ALL THE TOURS
- Underclothing that allows ventilation (fast drying).
- Polar jacket type Polartec (windproof)
- Waterproof jacket that allows ventilation (in Goretex).
- Trousers for trekking
- Thermal underwear.
- Fleece hat
- A cap.
- Sunglasses with side shades(spectron 3 minimum and 4 for the high mountaineering).
- Gloves.
- Raincoat.
- Water bottle (or a camelbac ruck sack).
- A head torch.
- A bathing suit.
- A ruck sack equipped with broad straps and an adjustable anatomical reinforcement/30 to 40 liters.
- Replacemente clothing.
- A pair of laces for replacement.
- Toilet paper.
- A
Knife (or multi-tool with knife).
- Plastic bags to protect your belongings.
- Needles and threads. - A toiletry kit  and a towel.
- Shoes sandal type or sandals.


FIRST AID KIT
- Analgesics.

Anti-inflammatory pills (gel tablets).
- Antibiotics with broad spectrum.
- Antihistamine.
antidiarrheal, intestinal antiseptic.antiemetic.

Antiseptic wipes, gauze pads, non-adherent sterile dressings and stockinette bandage, tape, trip and knuckle bandages and cotton-tipped applicators
- Antiseptic.
- Sunscreen, sun block, burn cream and lip balm.
- Potable Aqua lodine Tablets.
- Other items : lubricating eye-drops, mosquito repellent, tweezers, light sleeping pill, personal earplugs, personal medical prescriptions.

 

FOR HIGH MOUNTAINEERING
- Glacier glasses.
- Underwear Carline type.
- An aditional Polar jacket.
- Thermal pants.
- Mountain helmet.
- Two pair of gloves o mittens. thermal and waterproof.
- Mountain Goretex jacket with hood.
- Gaiters.
- Goretex pants.
- Une paire de surmoufles en Nylon ou Goretex.
- High Mountain boots (crampon-compatible).
- An Ice axe.
- Crampons
- A light cross-belt.
- Telescopic Poles highly recomended.
- Two carabiners (including one with screw) and a ring cord (length 2m)
- Sleeping bag of good quality (- 5º to -10º degrees celsius) for the night in the non heated refuge.
